Inverroche is first and foremost a family business. And, while it’s wholeheartedly true that Inverroche’s success is the result of a total team effort, it would be incorrect not to acknowledge that the Scott family have steered Inverroche to the place we find ourselves today.
Of course, without Lorna none of this would exist. A fiercely determined personality who combines passion for distilling with in-depth knowledge of the local biome and an inimitable love for this part of the world; Lorna is quite literally the driving force behind Inverroche.
Michael is a trusted support to Lorna and the Inverroche business. As Managing Director, he overseas all the operations within the organisation, while at the same time he provides valuable insights into all the new innovation and sustainability projects. In his previous life, Michael was a Michelin Star chef, which has added a huge advantage to his understanding of flavour, trends and consumer experiences. Michael is an extremely hard working and passionate asset to the Inverroche family, and is one of the main reasons our Brand Home is such a success!
Since the very beginning, Lorna’s son Rohan has been a fundamental cog in the Inverroche Family. Together, Lorna and Rohan spent many hours in their farm home kitchen learning and experimenting with various flavour combinations to eventually arrive at the famously known Fynbos Gin collection. Rohan has grown up in Stilbaai and has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the local community, fynbos flora and the science of distillation. Rohan no longer works in the distillery, but continuously adds support to Lorna as she continues to push the boundaries in Gin and drive her business abroad.
From a very early age, Lorna’s daughter Lauren has been the creative genius behind the Inverroche brand. Her ability to style, photograph and design has added huge value to the way Inverroche looks and feels today. Lauren was also the founder and brains behind the delicious range of vegan chocolates and Ice-creams which can be found at the brand home. Lauren’s attention to detail and entrepreneurial spirit have added massive value to the person experience that Inverroche is so well known.
